Technical Support creates D04 template for Documenting Products
A template for the D04 form has been created and stored on the Admin server for your use.
A directory has also been created to store the product documentation.
We now have a single
form that all should use when generating D04 product documentation. We
also have a common directory to store the product documentation for future
reference and revision.
Here’s how to find the D04 form.
- double click on the My Computing icon on the desktop or under your Start Menu
- double click on admin-computing on 'enjoie' (S:) icon under Network Drives
- double click on ProdDoc
- double click on the icon D04.dot
- key in appropriate information into the document
- save as "product name.doc" in the ProdDoc folder(e.g. SA100.doc)
- Print a enough copies of the D04 for customers and Technical Support and deliver to Technical Support with all other pertinent materials
- Exit
