The Binghamton University ACS (Administrative Computing Services) department is comprised of two groups. The Applications Development Team is responsible for the design, implimentation and maintenance of the University's database. Some of the modules of this database include Student Records, Student Accounts, Financial Aids and Human Resources (among others). The Technical Support Team oversees daily running of production jobs and ensures that all production code meet established standards and have been thoroughly tested, manages administrative databases, is responsible for access control and manages tape and disk resources.
